So Saturday we woke up 2 hours later than we wanted
to, and drove to the middle of this Mountain, Gamp Alp.
It is located at the edge of the Swiss Alps.
I hiked in the ALPS!!
So everyone lied to me and said the hike would be an hour,
whereas we really hiked for 2 hours
-- which didn't bother me cause I had my Wine Coolers with me...
Nothing like hiking to 1500 Meters high drunk!
And this was our happy camper brigade.
and me with my drunken city boy ass.
And Annette's ass.
Then "they" decide to take the "rugged" short cut.
Breath-taking views.
And we trudged further up.
At least I wasn't last!
Finally, after much whining, they let us take a break.
But I think they were all tired too.
Hiking is all about the pauses.
Christian contemplates where we are going.
Sandro gets some fresh mountain water.
(which tasted nasty!)
And yet another pause.
We diddle and chat.
And giggle and flash everyone.
And I jizz at the sights.
And we march on further up.
Its not easy.
But we manage.
The views keep getting better and better.
And this damn trail never seems to end.
It just keeps going and going (Tina?)...
But at least the scenery is to die for.
And here we look down at the villages.
And Martin "Boehli" decides to be a flower boy.

And finally we are welcomed by the Alpine Cows.
I, of course, try to be friendly...
But the cows didn't seem to like to be touched.
But it all still made me feel like lil ol "Heidi".
Everyone waits until Corey is done playing with the cows.
We ask some stranger to take a group picture of us.
Don't we all look like sportly hikers!
And finally we reach the top of the Alp.
There is thankfully a restaurant there.
Moni and Annette chillin.
Annette and Juergen feel the need to rearrange the furniture.
I just sit back and laugh.
And then I pass out from the exhausting Hike.
As it was cold, we moved inside to eat.
And we ordered alot.
And drank alot.
And people made fun of me cause I put ketchup on my "knoddel".
But I didn't care and we drank further.
Awww the sweet couple...
Finally we start to pack it back up for the long haul home...

BUAH.. is that a scary look.
The waiter decides that we have to pay.
And God even managed to open up shop way up here.
Going down is a hellavu lot quicker.

And we finally made it back to the base.
